Blog commenting

Today we learnt how to make a quality blog. We learned that in a blog comment we must have the following:

A greeting.
A connection with the writer.
A positive statement-say something nice.
Ask a question
Add new facts

We also learnt before we publish our comment, we must check:

 capital letter, punctuation, punctuation and
 comment makes sense.

Speech marks

On my test for speech marks, I got 9 out of 10, Speech marks are used for sentences, For Example:  "Hi Luis"  said Tom, "Hello Tom" replied Luis. "I think I can hear someone at the basement door" Whispered Tom. Always remember to use speech mark in sentences also when someone is talking.Always remember where to put speech marks.

3D Shapes

This term we are focusing on geometry.Yesterday we created 3D shapes using nets.I created a cone.I found It difficult because the edges were hard to do.A cone has 2 faces ,1 edge ,1 corner.It was so hard that I had to take 1 and a half hour to do this.

Types of Angles

Today we learned about the different types of angles.We took pictures of ourselves showing the different types of angles and inserted them in a presentation.This is my work.

All about me

Hello my name is Jaiden I go to Glen Innes School.Im nine years old and I'm in room 10 and my friends are Sosaia, Javarn, Iraia, Sione, Charm, Sami, Champion, Ka and Sam.One day I would like to be in the all Fiji team.My teachers name is Mrs Petersen.I like playing rugby with my friends.My friend are good at rugby.The best thing on chromebook is playing online games and also my favourite food is butter chicken and my favourite desert is burfi.

movies

Yesterday we went to the movies to watch other schools videos it was incredible because of the song. My favourite movie was room8’s,my favourite part was when Hunter woke up and started to exercise.The tall girl started to run on the field.Then all the boy started to do pushups.My favourite part was when the boys went on the field and played rugby. Hunter did steps and the boys couldn’t get him.The girls were tired because they ran in between the cones and the boy went in between the cones too.Then they were hot.Girls played netball and the girl tried to get the ball in.

At the sky tower restaurant we went there because we had a family dinner.When we went there it was good and the food was yummy.I went with my brothers, mum ,dad and my cousin.It smelt like mcdonalds in the restaurant.I ate soup and bread and kane had prowns and rice jamaine had soup.After we ate that we had desert for desert I had ice cream and cake,Jamaine had ice cream and kane had jelly and my mum had cake and Ice cream and dad had coffee.When we almost left my brother and i had lollies.I enjoyed the most was the cake and soup.Also we had juice the flavour was fanta.I wish we planned to go there another time.Me andmy family were so full.
