How to Compost in the Winter

This term my group with Sosaia made this project. Our inquiry in investigation questions was *how to compost in the winter* First, we used the internet to research our topic. Then we constructed this project. I helped by going outside and grabbing leaves that would go inside our bucket. We used paper, crayons, tape, pencil to draw and also a big cardboard box to make our project.

Finding the leaves were probably the easiest thing to do.

The research of composting helped me a lot with my project.

I would like to know how much of our waste could be composted.

Today I have gone down because I was not thinking too much because of people around me were talking loud and distracting me. Also I will be working to get up to stage six by the end of the term so that when I leave school I will be at the curriculum level of my age. To get in stage six, I will keep practicing my times tables faster and faster till I get better. I will ask help from my brother if he could help me with my times tables.

Tessellation

 Tessellation is a shape or something that can be coloured in like a pattern or it can be close together, it's also a repeated pattern. On my shape I made a pattern that had red and blue on different birds and I made my fish yellow so that it looked clear to the picture.

In this picture I had green inside each circle and blue inside the squares of the circle and also I colored the triangle red.

My fantastic Achievement

Today I have achieved my goal, I have got a 4A in reading and that is a fantastic mark. My friends and I now are enjoying a nice box of chocolates.    

Prototec

Today I have gone down a bit because I was not paying attention and my friend was talking loud to me so I couldn't think. By next term I  will be working to get in stage 6, but to get in stage 6 I need to get 100%. to get 100% I will challenge myself to think faster in doing hundred and thousands and also my subtration.

Today I have went a little bit back, because I was not concentrating on my work and I needed to work faster. Next term I would like to get up to stage 6 or 7 to be at my own level. I need some more work faster in hundreds and thousands to get 100%.

Tongan Week

Malo e lelei, This week we learning how to speak in tongan language. Mrs Tuakoi helped us pronounce the words so we weren't faulty when we said tongan words. Also we had tongan kids helping us in our class too. I learnt how to say: malo, malo e lelei, fefe hake, sai pe malo, ko hai ho hingoa and ko hoku hingoa ko.
