Founding the Mean, Median, Mode and Range

My first number problem im going to share is 2, 2, 5, 8 , 1, 12

To find the mean you have to add up all the numbers together and then you have to divide it with how many numbers there are.

E.g 2 + 2 + 5 + 8 + 1 + 12 = 29
Then divide it by 5 which 4.8

To find the median you have to arange the numbers from smallest to largest, then cross out the numbers in order from left to right until you get to the middle, if you get two numbers leave it as it is.

E.g 1, 2, 2, 5, 8, 12
arrange the numbers first and then cross out the numbers from left to right.
The median is 2 and 5

To find the mode you just have to look for the number that occurs the most.
The mode is 2

The range is simple all you do is minus the lowest number from the highest number which in this case is 2 - 12 = 10
