Hip hop Dance Lesson 2

Today this morning, we went to our hip hop dance lesson 2 practice. I had a joyful time dancing and running around the hall.

First, when we started dancing, we had to warm up our body so that we wouldn't faint or fall down. We first started by moving around and shaking our legs and arms, then we turned our neck left and right. The hip hop teacher's name was Izzy, she also showed us some new moves.

The fun bit of the hip hop practice was when we ran around the hall, also we had to keep switching leaders so that we couldn't get tired and stop. We all learned a new game that was fun, it was called rock paper scissors but in a dancing way. We had to walk up to the team and then we had to choose rock, paper or scissors pose to defeat the other team.

When we were about to head to class, she taught us hand moves like doing squares and other amazing patterns that the other classes already learned. As she taught us through to her moves, I could see many people struggling like me.

When we left the hall I had a very great time.

Stavros Kyriakides

Stavros Kyriakides is an artist that creates his work in wellingtons south coast beaches, he is well known for his creative sculptures. He creates his sculptures without using glue, nails, wires and concrete holding. He also uses natural material like rocks and driftwood. Stavros Kyriakides also balances his artwork so that it could look more interesting. When he was he liked to watch circus shows on tv. Stavros has been working on his art for nearly about 4 years since 2014.

Basic Facts T4W1

Today I did my first basic facts assessment for term 4. I have remained the same because I never learned anything in my holidays. To get better I will do homework at home for an hour with my mum, I am sure that my mum will be very disappointed in me because she wants me to do good in all my results. I would want to be at the curriculum level for my age, I want to get up to stage 6.

The food festival

Last week,  we celebrated my mums fantastic birthday at fortuna eating delicious food.

First, my mum told us that her birthday was next week so my dad planned that we would go to fortuna to celebrate her birthday. Then the next after we dressed up nice and was ready to drive away to fortuna. When we got there, we saw an elevator, so we parked our car nearby and walked into the elevator and was on our way up. As we reached the top floor we took photos of us then continued to walk to fortuna.

Next, when we walked in, I could aroma the delicious food. From there my mum paid for an hour for us to enjoy the food, my two brothers got seafood and I had to go and grab me my chicken drumsticks from the big pot. Next after we ate dessert and my mum got a surprising birthday muffin with a candle that she blew off and ate. After that we ordered three glasses of coke to drink.

Then, we only had several minutes left of time to eat so me and my brother grabbed us some sushi from the counter, eventually we all got full, by the end of time I thought that the food was brilliant and I think that it is the best eating place.

The dessert was definitely my highlights when I tasted it. I also thought that the smell of the food were brilliant. The dessert tastes more like chocolate fudge with melted chocolate chips inside.
