Khan Acedemy

Today I went onto Khan acedemy, and learnt nothing because didn't know anything about this site. But this was a math learning site, I was just watching the video.

Wood works

 I have chosen to make a phone holder for watching videos. I thnk this is the best choice because I can watch video without holding the phone. It will be used  for charging my phone and holding my phone, for this project I will consider having a sharp blade for chizzle.

The reason why I chosen this phone holder is because I wanted to watch videos without holding the phone, the phone holder is just a surface for your phone to go onto and it is used for hodling your phone and charging it. I want to make this for my mum or for myself. I would put this in the living room because thats useually where everybody is, I think that it would be safer beacause it's stabled.



I used a pencil to make a full sized working drawing of my phone heolder because I wanted to watch videos without holding the phone and also so I could charge it too.

Mental maths

mental maths is a online site for learning, it helps you with time tables, addition, subtraction and dividing. I think that this game is a challenge because you have to get the answer within 10 seconds. and  if you get te answer correct you get a letter that come up, like amazing! or marvelous.

Comma Chameleon

Today I played this boring but useful game for learning punctuation- it helps you learn faster with your you writing. There are different levels that you can pass if you complete your level. Some levels are interesting while some are very boring.

Today tried solving mystery solving problems, We had read the story first then had to work out who stole the detailed map from the american army. I found this task interesting and a bit difficult for finding who commited the crime.

Time tables

This morning I played this math game called time tables, basically if you got the question right you would earn points, but if you ran out of time you would get disqualified and lose all your points. I found this game easy.

Order of Operations

Today I played a new math game called Order of operation/ who wants to a hundredaire. The game was simple you had to solve the problems, you'd receive $10 for each question you get correct. But if you made a mistake you would lose and would have to restart all over again. I found the game a bit easy, but the question were a lot harder than working on the floor with miss D.

Today my friends and I created a DLO (Digital Learning Object) about our Collaborative Problem Solving task for Reading. I found it easy but very distracting, and also found the reading boring.

Cooking Pancakes

Today, our technology class made pancakes and also had finished our cushion last week. The ingredients in our pancake were flour, egg, milk and sugar, we had to mix all the ingredients together to make it all smooth together and finally cooked it on a pan with butter.

Ratio Rumble

Ratio Rumble is a nice and easy math game that you can learn off like making patterns or following receipts. Basically If you look closely at the receipt you can see that there is a green and blue one that has a number 1 on the front. you have to follow connect a green and blue one together so that you can win and keep going on and one till you reach the last level.

Khan academy is a great maths game that we use in room six. Khan  Academy is a app that I use to warm up in maths and use it to help me with my learning. You can choose if you want to learn time tables or algebra or even subtraction and addition.

Order Of Operation

Today I found out a new fun learning game! bassically order of operation is a game that you can learn from and you can choose whether you want to learn time tables or BEDMAS. Today I tried out BEDMAS, In BEDMAS you have to answer using the rules otherwise your answer would not be correct. The rule is You have answer using the BEDMAS which stands for brackets, exponents, division, multiplication, addition and subtraction. So in this picture the multiplication will come first and addition will come next. So your answer will be 19.....

Today I found out a new online learning game call Probability Fair, it was a game a bit like chances of winning and like spinning the wheel kinda thing.

Today I found out a new online math game called Decimals of the caribbean. This is how you play the game,, you have to compare the top writing with the pirate boats that have the same number that matches the top number.

Sewing

Today I Worked on a easy but distracting worksheet that we had to fill in using a sewing machine. I found it hard to follow the lines because people around me kept bumping me.

Hit the button is awesome online game can you can learn off. You can change the subject to anything that you want! What makes this game better is adding a timer to it which they did. To choose your answer you have to click on the buttons and when the timer sets off it shows your results like any other game.

Mental Maths

Today I discovered new online maths activity games. But for me I think it was a bit childish because it had like simple questions like 1 + 9 and stuff. I think that this game does help you a bit with you math learning skills.

Freerice

Freerice is a online vocabulary game, today I wanted to just play this game a bit so that my vocab would be a bit better. This game is recommended for anyone that like to learn or get better at anything.

Tables Test

Today after lunch, I went on to another new online game called Tables Test. It was basically time tables you fill in the square. Well I got questions like 6 x 5 and stuff, The answer was obviously 30.

Math Trainer

Today I discovered a new online learning activities the question were simple. It was like 1 + 1 and 5 + 2. The question I got was 6 + 2, I worked it out by just adding 2 to the 6 the counted it all up in my head, the answer was 8!

E ako

Today we've just discovered a new learning site on the the internet, it's called E-ako. This math problem done to finished was I timed 10 x 10 that equaled to 100 then I checked the circle and looked if it took up the the whole space in the square to answer question 2, the answer was does. Moving on to the next question I worked out that the area outside the circle was 24 then to the last question the answer was 74.

Brilliant Maths

This morning I discovered a new learning game called Brilliant. The question that I worked on was who was the youngest person out of the three. Here's how I guest my answer if Kevin was the oldest and Nicholas was the oldest too, then one of them would be the youngest. So if you look at the faces of Nicholas and Kevin's Nicholas has a younger face than kevin

DLO

I found this problem solving hard because I couldn't work the problem out properly. To get better at doing this I will do my homework. I think that I could of done this problem faster.
