gardining

Today my class and I were taking weed and roots out of our garden, we had volunteers from saint kentigern, the helped us pull out the weed. And the girls were pouring the weed inside a huge box and the seniors were mixing the water with the mud and as they were mixing, the mud got softer and wetter. When the boys were picking weed up, Ms peterson said whoever has the most weed pile gets a chocolate bar, After a few minutes it started to rain and so the teachers said come here under the shelter to not get wet, so we did. But it got harder and harder so the teacher said go to class and that's when we had to stop doing what we were doing and go to class.

Prototec

On the prototec Maths, I had a very bad score, I usually get more than this, but today I did not have a great score. I just have to practice my 100 and 1000, I found that the hardest thing to do on this sheet.

Vector

Weeks ago on term 3, we went to the vector. The vector came to visit our school. she showed what electric lines could do to your body if you touch it, and she also taught us the types of electric machines, after we were watching a video about electric machines, The video was like a warning. The girl was about to touch the light bulb and get tased by it, a girl was going to throw a rock at the electricity post and luckily her friend was there, he stopped her from getting shock. After our lesson was finished the lady that worked at the vector said Does anyone remember the the warnings in this video, The children came up with the correct answers, the children that got the right answers had a sticker and the rest of the children had a book and a amazing pencil. after that we walked back to class.

Today we learnt how to make a quality blog. We learned that in a blog comment we must have the following:

A greeting.
A connection with the writer.
A positive statement-say something nice.
Ask a question
Add new facts

We also learnt before we publish our comment, we must check:

 capital letter, punctuation, punctuation and
 comment makes sense.

Speech marks

On my test for speech marks, I got 9 out of 10, Speech marks are used for sentences, For Example:  "Hi Luis"  said Tom, "Hello Tom" replied Luis. "I think I can hear someone at the basement door" Whispered Tom. Always remember to use speech mark in sentences also when someone is talking.Always remember where to put speech marks.

3D Shapes

This term we are focusing on geometry.Yesterday we created 3D shapes using nets.I created a cone.I found It difficult because the edges were hard to do.A cone has 2 faces ,1 edge ,1 corner.It was so hard that I had to take 1 and a half hour to do this.

Types of Angles

Today we learned about the different types of angles.We took pictures of ourselves showing the different types of angles and inserted them in a presentation.This is my work.
